Frustration

Hi I have been a caregiver for this family for more than eight years for 8 years I have silently endured not getting paid when the family would go on vacations every summer and winter and I have endured working 16 hour to 72 hour shifts because caregivers keep quitting or calling in and I have been the only one to stay. I have created a very close bond with my client however I believe that it's time for me to move on. I'm extremely frustrated this year because despite my scrimping and saving everything has seemed to break down all at the same time as it normally does in life and my client is going to be going on vacation for an entire month this summer which means an entire month of not getting paid and having to scrounge up to make up for that time because my hours are so varied I can't afford to take on another client. I'm pretty frustrated and upset because as of next week my hours are cut short by 5 hours a week and then she's going on vacation not to mention that the hours were cut short and given to him family member who is a certified nurse and has a full-time job with the state. A part of me just wants to quit Here and Now and inform the mother that despite many years of service it isn't fair for us to have to give up hours to family members who already have established jobs with good pay however I have had no luck finding a full-time position and I'm worried that if I quit that I won't be able to find anything better
