I care for my mom and dad who are close to 90. They are in good health. Their memories are faltering and more frail. They are very scared of dying as most of their friends have passed away. They snipe at each other constantly When they make peace once in a while, they start to snipe at me. I am sure this is not new to anyone here. I did retire from my job but am getting bored and want to work on a pt basis. I will say more about this in another post in the future.
I am glad I found a board to post to. It is hard being a caretaker!
Sorry, but I couldn't help but get a little bit amused when you talked about the sniping. Unfortunate that dementia seems to take people over to their dark sides. :(
