I am the youngest of five. My name is Shauna. This is very hard and I relive the moment of that morning everyday. My mother was a very stubborn opinionated woman. I still loved her so. My children and I truly miss her. There were some very bad moments over the years as she got older and patience grew very thin..verbally abusive towards me and physically abusive towards my children. Still I couldn't bare to leave her when I felt something just wasn't right but I didn't know what. I felt like she knew something and just didn't tell me. She started being forgetful early in age, she would leave the gas on or the water back in 2010. She had had a stroke before retiring and kept that a secret, she had arthritis and high blood pressure and didn't want to see her regular doctor for her meds. She had bronchitis as well. I found out through making arrangements that she had spent her savings five years ago. Beneficiary benefits included. I had created an account to help pay for arrangements and it only covered one of many needed installments for her final wishes to be completed. I was told on July 9, 2015 and my mom lost her battle with uterine cancer 7/21/15. I was her caretaker for nine years and in a month I'll be in a homeless shelter with my children. I'm doing all that I can to prevent that to no avail. I called today about a cooling application for assistance with the light bill. That has been denied due to my "living situation" which wasn't explained to me in detail. My family is desperately & would greatly appreciate it.

Wish List:
For help. My worker, psychiatrist (2), the bill collector's for what Medicare couldn't cover. This is really my last hope, I have no idea what to do. I've shared my story on Twitter, all 2,197 friends (family included in that number) on Facebook and it's as if no one truly cares.
